Diagnostic of CBPP (SoP’s)
In 2007, a series of specialized trainings was given to laboratory technicians regarding the various techniques available for the diagnostic of CBPP.
Two major trainings for laboratory technicians were organized in Zambia in June 2007 and in Tanzania in September 2007 in view of providing the SADC region with regional harmonized SoP's for the diagnostic of the disease given the various techniques available.
The trainings were preliminary to a regional workshop about the control of CBPP in the SADC region (for surveillance of the disease, see the relevant section of this site).
