A Grant contract for a Regional Training Programme RTP was signed with ITM leader of the consortium gathering the following institutions:

The University of Pretoria (South Africa), the Sokoine University of Agriculture (Tanzania), the Centre for Ticks and Tick-borne Diseases (Malawi) and the Animal Health Department of the Institute of Tropical Medicine ITM, Antwerp (Belgium), in collaboration with the Eduardo Modlane University (Mozambique)
