JOLISAA Structure

Outcomes

JOLISAA objectives relate directly to the outcomes envisioned by the KBBE-2009-1-4-06 call.

• Objectives 1, 2 and 3 address “mutual knowledge generation, a better understanding of the current innovation processes for small-scale farming and of the role of traditional knowledge in these innovation processes”.
• Objective 4 addresses the need to strengthen research capacities, but widens capacity-strengthening to other partners in innovation processes, as well.
• Objective 5 addresses “the networking of major research players in this field of research (e.g. IS and TK)”.
• Objective 6 addresses “the need for further research on agricultural innovation systems to benefit small-scale farming ”, and widens it by identifying the needs of other stakeholders, as well.
