ESB (Escola Superior de Biotecnologia) is a College of the Catholic University of Portugal, founded in 1984.

Since 1991, ESB hosts the Centre for Biotechnology and Fine Chemistry (CBQF), a research unit with mission to deliver new and improved food processes and products in line with consumer needs and expectations.
