Cheikh Anta Diop University  in Dakar includes a score of education establishment with six faculties, ten institutes or centres and five “graduate schools” including "Ecole Supérieure Polytechnique"  (ESP).

Created in 1976, ESP has six departments: chemical engineering and biology, civil engineering, computer engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering and management.
