The department of Fundamental and Applied biochemistry depends on the Sciences Faculty of the Antananarivo University . It is composed of 3 laboratories: Food biochemistry, Biotechnology and Medical biochemistry. Its main competences concern biochemistry, microbiology, toxicology, immunology and food science In addition to the theoretical courses, the training is based on research activities undertaken in collaboration with national and international scientific partners, as well as actors in development sector.
