First training workshop dedicated to project writing
The workshop took place in Bobo-Dioulasso (Burkina Faso) from February 21 to 25, 2011. It benefited from the experience of two monitors of CIRAD: Mrs Cindy Van Hyfte and M. Patrick Bisson.

Participants from diverse disciplines
The workshop was attended by more than thirty scientists, coming from thirteen institutions of six West and Central African countries. It permitted to have scientists on animal production, on agronomy, on veterinary medecine and on social sciences to interact in the conception of projects to respond to the call No. HRST/ST/AURG/CALL1/2011 of African Union and funded by the 10th FED whose deadline is set at April 30, 2011 (http://www.africahrst.org/stict/rgp/call2011.aspx).
