South Green Bioinformatics Platform is a bioinformatics platform applied to the genetic and genomic resources analyses of the South and Mediterranean plants. It is managed by DAP research unit.
REFUGE (The RicE FUnctional GEnomics platform) is an international hosting platform, based in Montpellier, Agropolis-Lavalette campus, France open to the international plant science community. REFUGE offers an access to the know-how and bioinformatic, biological, and molecular resources allowing hosted scientists from the North and the South, including non rice specialists, to use rice as a model system to elucidate gene function through functional genomics strategies. REFUGE is funded by Agropolis Fondation and set up by the DAP and LGDP research units.
The Genotyping and Robotics Platform is managed by DAP research unit. It proposes different tools applied to genome analyses:
- High throughput PCR preparation;
- DNA fragments electrophoresis (SSR, AFLP, Ecotilling);
- Libraries (SSR, BAC, cDNA, DArT) production, characterisation, and use.
