This workshop took place in Bamako (Mali), 8-13 August 2011. The General Director of the Institute of Rural economy of Mali has opened himself the workshop to underline how young scientists are lucky in comparison to scientists of his generation who got no opportunity to gain competence in scientific and project writings.
It is quite clear that the project format must fully comply with instructions which are specific to calls for bids. Nevertheless, the quality of a proposed project is mainly judged by the relevance and originality of the matter addressed by the project. At the time of conceiving a project, how to assess that it's relevant and original? The workshop provided advices and tools to help each one in this assessment. It also emphasized how important it is to get collectively organized to embark in building a project.
