Unforgetable workshop with Gary
A pro for the first training in scientific writing
To publish in an international journal, most often in English, techniques must be commanded but they are seldom taught in Francophone countries. Gary Burkhart has demonstrated that he does master these techniques, and he was both charismatic and humoristic in passing his knowledges, during the workshop which took place in Bamako (Mali), june 14 to 18, 2010.
Training before an elarged audience
More than 30 people participated to the first training in scientific writing and communication; they came from five African countries. The AFOMDnet Project has adopted the approach of extending its direct beneficiaries beyond scientists contributing directly to its implementation; about 20 people have hence benefitted from this training opportunity.
