To publish in an international journal, most often in English, techniques must be commanded but they are seldom taught in Francophone countries. Gary Burkhart has demonstrated that he does master these techniques, and he was both charismatic and humoristic in passing his knowledges, during the workshop which took place in Bamako (Mali), june 14 to 18, 2010.

The training workshop took place in Yamoussoukro, in the campus of INP-HB, August 16-20, 2010. It was delivered by M. Bernard Pochet, documentalist and member of the editing committee of the journal BASE (Biotechnologie, Agronomie, Société et environnement), and convinced advocator of the open-access approach.

The workshop will take place in Bamako (Mali), june 14-18, 2010. Training will be delivered in French, although English will be spoken too. The coordinator of the AFOMDnet Project is doing his best so that as many colleagues as possible could benefit, were they involved in research orteaching.
relatived to the referencing and the capitalizing of experiences in the promotion of food crops and diversification, took place in Ouagadougou (Burkina Faso). The methodology was carried out and appropriated by all project partners. The workshop gave the opportunity to set up a friendly group, deeply sharing the objectives of the AFOMDnet Project.
The capitalizing of experiences is based on its referencing and three dimensions of caracterising dealing with a given experience, the actions specifically implemented, and the results obtained. The methodology and the internet tools under construction are conceived so as to enable capitalizing in various areas such as agriculture, human health, education...For this reason the term of "operation" in preferred to the term "project" which implies often external funding.
Workshop organized in Montpellier (France), hosted in CIRAD, Jan. 21-27, 2010.
